IMPORTANT: Always do a patch test before using a new cosmetic product on your face or larger areas of skin. Apply a small amount to your inner wrist and wait 24 hours. Stop using the product immediately if redness, itching, swelling or irritation occurs, and consult a doctor or dermatologist.

1. General

Glam Guru sells beauty products for personal use. Our current range consists of the Silky Sculpt Hair Wax Stick, the Sculpt Pen (Creamy Contour Stick), the Mini Boar Bristle Brush, the Terahertz Gua Sha, the Silk Bond Scrunchies and the Big Hair Claw Clip.

All information on glamguru.com and on our packaging is general guidance for use. It does not replace professional medical, dermatological or pharmaceutical advice.

2. Not a medical product

Our cosmetic products fall under the European Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition.

Words such as "sculpt", "depuff", "lift" and "tames flyaways" describe cosmetic effects only. They do not imply any medical or therapeutic effect. Descriptions of the properties of Terahertz stone are based on generally available product information and have not been assessed or approved by any regulatory authority.

3. Product-specific instructions and safety

3.1 Silky Sculpt Hair Wax Stick

A wax stick for hair and the hairline that tames flyaways and keeps your style in place. No flakes, no stiffness.

For external use on hair and the hairline only. Do not apply directly to the scalp, to open wounds or to broken skin.
Not intended for use on the face or as a skincare product.
Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with lukewarm water for at least 15 minutes.
Contains rosin (colophonium), a known contact allergen: not suitable if you are allergic to colophonium, for example if you react to sticking plasters.
Contains beeswax: not suitable if you are allergic to bee products.
Contains shea butter (Butyrospermum Parkii): if you have a nut allergy, consult your doctor before use.
Contains plant oils, including meadowfoam (Limnanthes Alba), camellia (Camellia Japonica) and jojoba (Simmondsia Chinensis) seed oil: check for plant-based allergies.
Store in a cool, dry place (max. 25°C).

3.2 Sculpt Pen – Creamy Contour Stick (Hazelnut / Espresso)

A dual-ended contour pen with a creamy formula and a built-in sponge tip for seamless blending. Available in Hazelnut (light to medium) and Espresso (medium to deep). Suitable for cheekbones, jawline, nose bridge and lips.

For external use on the face only. Do not apply in or around the eyes.
Do not apply to cracked or irritated lips.
The sponge tip is a personal applicator. Clean it regularly with mild soap and do not share it with others.
Remove make-up completely every evening.
Contains beeswax: not suitable if you are allergic to bee products.
Contains shea butter (Butyrospermum Parkii): if you have a nut allergy, consult your doctor before use.
Contains plant oils, including jojoba (Simmondsia Chinensis) and camellia (Camellia Japonica) seed oil: check for plant-based allergies.
Fragrance free. Cruelty free: not tested on animals.

3.3 Mini Boar Bristle Brush (Pink / Beige / Panther)

A compact hair brush with natural boar bristles for daily styling.

Remove hair from the brush after each use.
Clean the brush at least once a week with mild shampoo and lukewarm water.
Let it air dry completely with the bristles facing down. Do not use a hair dryer directly on the bristles.
A poorly cleaned brush can transfer bacteria to the scalp. If scalp irritation or infection occurs, stop using the brush and consult a doctor.
Made with natural animal hair (boar). Not suitable if you are allergic to animal hair.

3.4 Terahertz Gua Sha

A facial massage tool made from Terahertz stone, a man-made synthetic mineral that feels cool on the skin. Designed for a relaxing facial massage that helps reduce the look of puffiness and define your facial contours.

Use only on a clean face with a facial oil or serum applied first. Never use on dry skin.
Use light pressure only, with upward and outward strokes along the jawline, cheeks and forehead.
Do not use on active acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, open wounds, skin infections or burns.
Consult your doctor before use if you take blood-thinning medication, have a blood clotting disorder, are pregnant, or have had facial surgery, Botox or fillers in the past 2 weeks.
Clean the Gua Sha before and after every use with mild soapy water and dry it thoroughly.
The stone is fragile. Store it safely and avoid dropping it on hard surfaces.
Tip: keep it in the refrigerator for an extra cooling effect.

3.5 Silk Bond Scrunchies

Do not wear a scrunchie that is damaged or overstretched.
If you have a sensitive scalp, watch for signs of irritation while wearing it.

3.6 Big Hair Claw Clip (Brown / Animal)

An XL claw clip for updos, half-up looks and thick hair.

Do not wear the clip while driving or during activities with a risk of falling or impact to the head, such as cycling, sports or horse riding. In a fall or collision, a large clip at the back of the head can cause injury.
Do not wear the clip when leaning your head back against a headrest, pillow or hard surface.
Do not use the clip if it is cracked, broken or has sharp edges.
Do not force the clip open further than it naturally opens, as this can break the spring or teeth.
Remove the clip before sleeping.
If you have a sensitive scalp, watch for signs of pressure or irritation while wearing it.

4. General safety guidelines

Patch test: Always do a patch test before using a new cosmetic product (see the top of this page).
Children: Keep all products out of reach of children. Not suitable for children under 12 without adult supervision.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
Shelf life: Do not use a product after the expiry date or the Period After Opening (PAO) shown on the packaging. For example, "12M" means 12 months after opening.
Changes: Do not use a product if its smell, colour or texture has changed.

5. When to stop using a product

Stop using the product immediately and consult a doctor or dermatologist if:

You notice redness, swelling, itching, a burning sensation or a rash.
The product has come into contact with your eyes and symptoms continue after rinsing.
You have symptoms of an allergic reaction, such as difficulty breathing or swelling of the lips or throat. In that case, seek medical help immediately.
An existing skin condition gets worse after using the product.

6. Regulations and certification

All Glam Guru cosmetic products are produced in line with the European Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009, have been assessed by a qualified safety assessor and are notified in the EU Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP). None of our cosmetic products are tested on animals.

The Terahertz Gua Sha, the Mini Boar Bristle Brush, the Silk Bond Scrunchies and the Big Hair Claw Clip are accessories, not cosmetic products, and do not fall under the Cosmetics Regulation.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Glam Guru is not liable for damage or side effects resulting from:

Incorrect use, or use that does not follow the instructions on this page or on the packaging.
Not doing a patch test before use.
Use in combination with other products or medical treatments.
Use after the expiry date or PAO.
Use despite a known allergy to one of the listed ingredients.
Use despite a known skin condition or medication, without prior medical advice.

Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product concerned, except in the case of intent or gross negligence on our part.

Nothing in this disclaimer limits your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights under product liability law.
